Reo Tahiti Language week in Aotearoa
Reo Tahiti Language Week is an opportunity to celebrate, promote and strengthen our language, culture and identity. It is a time to reconnect with our Māʻohi roots, share our knowledge and encourage the everyday use of Reo Tahiti within our homes and communities.
Our language carries the stories, traditions, values and wisdom of our ancestors. Through learning, cultural activities and shared experiences, we celebrate its importance and our responsibility to keep it alive for future generations.
Organised by TE FARE MĀʻOHI I AOTEAROA – MANATOPU, based in Auckland, Aotearoa, New Zealand, with the support of Māʻohi communities and Ministries of Languages.
